Meet Koinonia Cares Board Member Holden McLemore

We want to introduce you to the dedicated volunteers who make up our Koinonia Cares team of Board Members, so we’d like you to e-meet The Koinonia Foundation’s Grant Coordinator and Pace for Grace 5K Race Chair Holden McLemore.

A native of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Holden McLemore has witnessed the rapid growth of both the Town and Triangle area in recent years. An increased number of people has led to a greater number of people in need and Holden serves on the Koinonia Board because he’s passionate about his hometown and helping his neighbors.

“Koinonia truly wants to help our neighbors with no strings attached,” says Holden.

“Since the early 1990s Koinonia has provided funding for food, shelter, clothing and medical assistance to meet the needs of our community’s nonprofit organizations and individuals.”

Holden serves on the Board as the Grant Coordinator and Pace for Grace 5K Race Chair. Race participants, donors and sponsors recently raised thousands of dollars for the nonprofit’s fall virtual race that will be distributed as emergency benevolence funds to neighbors in need in the communities of Wake Forest, Rolesville and Youngsville.

Holden works as an attorney at Perry & Brandt,  Attorneys at Law in downtown Wake Forest. When not working or volunteering, his downtime is spent with family. He enjoys spending time with his two young nieces Lucy and Layla and spoiling his puppies Ruby and Ginni.
