Jim Adams

Wake Forest Developer Jim Adams helped found The Koinonia Foundation in 1990.

The interdenominational organization was started in 1990 by the Koinonia Sunday school class of Wake Forest Baptist Church. Jim Adams, a Wake Forest developer and businessman, led the caring and concerned group of Christians who wanted to help their neighbors in crisis.

The Foundation quickly expanded its charter to include all caring and concerned people regardless of denomination and became dedicated to spreading good news by serving those in need.
