Malorie Ingold, a Wake Forest native, joined the board as our Secretary and is now our President! With a deep connection to her hometown, Malorie is eager to contribute to the foundation's mission of supporting and uplifting the local community. She looks forward to using her passion and skills to help the foundation grow and expand its impact, making a positive difference for those in need.

Cindy Woloszyn joined the Board in Aug 2025 and serves as the Foundation’s Treasurer. Cindy has lived in Wake Forest for 20 years and previously lived in Raleigh for 20 years as well.  Cindy’s background is both in engineering (NC State grad) and business finance (currently been at IQVIA for 20+ years) so she is eager and passionate to share her finance and organizational skills to best serve Koinonia’s needs to contribute back to the community. Cindy has two lovely 20 year old daughters and two dogs and enjoys spending time with her girls and friends, and hiking, cycling, piano and practically any type of sporty activity.

Shana Filter (rhymes with "Dana") is a seasoned nonprofit fundraiser with over 25 years of experience, having raised more than $75 million for organizations like the Salvation Army. She lives in Youngsville with her husband, two daughters, and their 13-year-old Yorkie, Sasha. A self-described "bleeding heart," Shana loves both raising funds and personally supporting great causes. Her volunteer work includes the Junior League of Durham & Orange Counties and the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce. Shana is excited to contribute to the Koinonia Foundation's impactful work in the community.

Emily Harris brings a wealth of marketing expertise to the Koinonia Foundation. With a strong background in crafting compelling campaigns and driving engagement, she has played a pivotal role in enhancing brand presence and community outreach. Emily’s extensive experience spans various industries, showcasing her ability to adapt and innovate in dynamic environments. At the Koinonia Foundation, she is dedicated to supporting its mission and advancing its impact within the community. Emily is enthusiastic about leveraging her skills to help the foundation grow and continue its vital work.

Donald Pleasants, a dedicated member of the Koinonia Foundation, brings strategic vision and a deep commitment to community service. Known for his impactful contributions, Donald is passionate about advancing the foundation’s mission. A resident of Wake Forest, he lives with his wife, Wendy, and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. An avid fan of the Carolina Hurricanes, Donald balances his professional dedication with his love for hockey and family.

June Sadowski is the Wake Forest Market President for North State Bank. Her two decades of banking experience include holding positions at Fidelity Bank, Capital Bank, RBC Bank (now PNC), and BB&T (now Truist). A native of Winchester, Virginia, June has lived in Wake Forest for over 21 years and is active in many community organizations, including: Leadership Wake Forest, Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW), and Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR), and is Chairwoman of the Women’s Business Alliance for the Wake Forest Chamber. She’s a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, the North Carolina Bankers Association School of Banking at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hillc, and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking/Wharton Executive Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of the office, you’ll likely find her spending time with her family, training for a charity run, hiking, painting or reading. 

Stacy Fleming has lived in Wake Forest since 2014. She and her husband, Mark, have two teenage daughters. She works as the Student Ministry assistant in her church. Stacy enjoys her two maltipoo dogs, reading, a good cup of coffee, and the beach. Stacy and Mark have been longtime supporters of the Koinonia Foundation and she is looking forward to becoming more involved in helping her neighbors.
